Crude oil refinery inputs in U.S. drop

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday that the crude oil refinery inputs in the U.S. have dropped in the week ending on the 6th of December.

The crude oil refinery inputs in the U.S. stood at an average of 16.6 million barrels in a day in the earlier week, 201,000 b/d less than the earlier week's average.

Refineries worked at 90.6 percent of their operable capacity in the earlier week, Distillate fuel output dropped to stand at an average of 5.2 million barrels per day, Gasoline output declined in the earlier week to an average of 9.8 million b/d.

The products supplied in total in the past 4 weeks period stood at an average of 20.4 million b/d, declining 2.4 percent from the same period of the previous year.
