Kuwait - Central store for medicines to be set up in Hawalli


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: Head of the Pharmaceutical Services Office in Hawalli Health Region Dr Abdullah Al-Mutairi has revealed a plan to set up an integrated central store for medicines in the region next year, reports Aljarida daily.

Al-Mutairi explained that the project will be executed by Hawalli Health Region and the Engineering Affairs Sector. It will serve as a strategic store for medicines in case of any emergency.

The medicines in the store will be enough for three months before resorting to the medical warehouses.


The store will serve the entire Hawalli Health Region, including Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and 18 medical centers within the region. He expatiated that Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital alone has eight pharmacies, which will be added to 18 others in the medical centers.
