Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) to increase


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased for the second consecutive day, getting 1.3 percent, or 104 points, to 8,203 points in the first 2 hours of trading on Monday and more than SAR 54 million worth of shares were traded, with advance-decline ratio at 139:31.


State-owned Saudi Aramco will debut trading on Wednesday, Dec. 11 with the symbol 2222 and Blue-chip SABIC, which rose 3 percent on Sunday, added another 1.5 percent to get to SAR 94.20.


Sipchem increased almost 4 percent to SAR 16.22 after its board of directors recommended to purchase 10 percent, or 73.33 million, of its shares, to be saved as treasury shares.


Between the banking stocks, heavyweight Al Rajhi gained 0.6 percent while AlBilad increased 5.5 percent as Baazeem and Metlife AIG ANB fell 1.5 percent and 1.2 percent respectively.
