(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The first round of political consultations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan was held yesterday in Doha.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, headed the Qatari sides, while Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Hasanov,headed the Azeri side.
The political consultations round focused on bilateral relations and means to develop them in addition to a host of issues of common concern.
