(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, yesterday visited the Turkish Military Detachment in Doha as part of his visit to Qatar.
During the visit, they reviewed the readiness of the Turkish Forces and the joint cooperation between them and the Qatari Forces.
The Turkish President was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah. Earlier, H E Al Attiyah; Qatar's Ambassador to Turkey, Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Qatar, Fikret Ozer, received the President and his accompanying delegation upon arrival at Doha International Airport, yesterday.
