(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Speaker of the Shura Council, H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, met yesterday with the Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of the Republic of Singapore, Teo Chee Hean, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Singapore and ways of supporting and developing them, especially in the parliamentary field, as well as a number of issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Shura Council Deputy Speaker, H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti; the Council's Observer, Hadi bin Saeed Al Khayareen; Chairman of the Qatari-Asian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Rashid bin Hamad Al Madadi; and Singapore's Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Jai Sohan.
