ISESCO and UNESCO Sign in Paris Agreement to Strengthen Cooperation in Capacity Building, Development and Technical Assistance


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Rabat, Nov. 19, 2019, SPA -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) signed in Paris today an agreement to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations in the field of capacity-building, development and technical assistance.
Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, ISESCO Director General and Audrey Azoulay, UNESCO Director-General, signed the document on the sidelines of the 40th session of the (UNESCO) General Conference.
The agreement covers the fields of capacity-building, development and technical assistance, artificial intelligence, social transformation program and natural resources and water and cultural legacy preservation in the Islamic world and Africa.
