Earthquake hits Morocco's Midelt


(MENAFN) On Sunday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck central Morocco. No casualties have been reported until now.

The Moroccan Institute of Geophysics stated in a statement that the tremor took place in the province of Midelt.

The quake epicenter was situated in the town of En-Nzala. At a depth of 4 km, the quake was felt in the cities of Fes and Meknes, but no destruction was noticed until now.
