(MENAFN) On Monday, the first Libyan investment economic forum kicked off in Morocco's capital Rabat.
The Libyan General Union of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture with the sponsorship of the Presidential Council of Libya arranged the event.
The forum emphasizes the solidity of ties and partnership between the Maghreb nations, stated the executive director of the forum, Al-Mahdi Abdelaati, at the opening ceremony.
He added that Morocco has been chosen to be the two-day economic event hosting nation due to its important role in supporting the inter-Libyan discourse which was the reason behind the signature of the Libyan political pact in December 2015.
