(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ROME, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Board and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah arrived in Rome Sunday to start an inspection tour of the agency's offices in European capitals.
Sheikh Mubarak was received at the Leonardo Da Vinci airport by Kuwait Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah, and Rome bureau's staff.
This tour comes to check the agency's works, improve performance and media presence and to follow up the activities of Kuwaiti authorities in Italy and international organizations.
For his part, the ambassador stressed KUNA's important role in supporting the foreign policy of Kuwait, praising the efforts of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij in developing KUNA's media system.
KUNA's Public Relations and Marketing Director Essam Al-Ruwayeh is accompanying KUNA's chief at the inspection tour. (end)
