(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's top bazaar, Al-Mubarakiya market place, is witnessing a festival on return of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the homeland.
The market, located in the heart of the capital and renowned for displayed handicraft products and genuine traditional industries, is ornamented with a huge portrait of His Highness the Amir.
The grand portrait, placed at Al-Gharbally market within the spacious bazaar, is captioned, "A message of faithfulness and love."
Organizers of the activity, "Nawaret," from Kuwait Municipality, are distributing photos of the Amir and unleashing a huge balloon decorated with his portrait, amid tunes of the National Anthem.
His Highness the Amir returned home earlier on Wednesday from the US where he underwent successful medical checkups. His comeback triggered a torrent of expressions of joy and relief by leaders and ordinary citizens. (end)
