Deputy Director of competitive sports sector in Public Authority for Sports Dr
Saqer Al-Mullah affirmed that the authority will not spare any effort to
support the organization of regional, continental and international sports
events in Kuwait including the 25th Asian Bowling Championship, which will be
hosted in Kuwait from Oct 20.
He highlighted the ability of the
Bowling Club and Kuwaiti youths to successfully organize the much-awaited major
event in a manner that suits the stature of this country.
Dr Al-Mullah stressed that the
sports authority has set up a strategy to enable associations and clubs to host
competitions that would contribute to enhancing Kuwait's sports experience.
He praised the organization of
the continental bowling championship in Kuwait for the first time in its
history, affirming that such events, whether in bowling or another sport,
constitute major pride for the State of Kuwait.
