Bahrain sees 0.84 pct economical growth

According to a government economic report on Monday, the economy of Bahrain has seen a growth of 0.84 percent in the 2nd quarter of 2019 and 1.76 percent in prices in comparison with the same period of the past year.

The official Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said that Bahrain seeing a balanced growth of economy, achieving economic growth in Q2 of 2019 supported by the growth in the non-oil sectors.

According to the national accounts report, a growth in non-oil sectors stood at 16.43 and contributed the most to the GDP.

The report showed that the oil sector GDP, in comparison with Q2 of 2018, saw a drop of 0.8 percent in real prices and 5.75 percent at current prices.
