The Shanghai Shipping Exchange (SSE) said on Friday that the coastal bulk freight market in China has witnessed a small drop in general demand in the past week.
The composite index for coastal bulk freight dropped 0.2 percent to 1,099.09 week on week, the SSE said.
The coal sub-index declined 0.7 percent to 1,124.72 in the past week.
The sub-index for metal ore added 0.1 percent to 1,015.43, and grain lost 0.5 percent to 993.83.
