The benchmark for Chinese power coal price has remained flat in the previous week.
According to Qinhuangdao Ocean Shipping Coal Trading Market Co. Ltd, the Bohai-Rim Steam-Coal Price Index (BSPI), remained at USD81.2 per ton on Wednesday.
Influenced by the rising strict control over building explosive devices, the coal supply in the main producing areas was restricted in the short term.
The operation rate of thermal power plants fell, and the daily consumption of coastal power plants had decreased to about 600,000 tons.
