(MENAFN) Jordan is scheduled to host a forum to enhance medical tourism sector, which brings around USD1 billion every year to its economy.
A statement from the forum stated that the Global Healthcare Travel Forum (GHTF) 2019, held under the support of King Abdullah II of Jordan, organized from Oct. 26 to 28.
Planned by the Private Hospitals Association (PHA), in collaboration with the Global Healthcare Travel Council and the Arab Hospitals Federation, the forum purposes at providing medical tourism investors around the world with the chance to meet, integrate and support cooperation in the sector.
Fawzi Hammouri, President of the PHA stated in a statement that over 700 contributors representing commissions specialized in healthcare travel and insurance, along with pharmaceutical manufacturers, will participate in the forum.
