Minister: Over 30,000 law enforcement officers dismissed in Turkey

After the attempted military coup in Turkey, 33,000 law enforcement officers have been dismissed, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said,Trendreports citing Turkish media.

According to Soylu, during the investigation, it was established that they all had connections with the terrorist organization FETO (the movement of Fethullah Gulen).

Fethullah Gulen and his supporters are accused of the 2016 military coup attempt in Turkey.

A group of rebels attempted a military coup in Turkey on the night of July 16, 2016. The main confrontation broke out in Ankara and Istanbul. More than 250 Turkish citizens were killed, over 2,000 people were injured, and the mutiny was suppressed
