(MENAFN) Three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray of the UK denied the possibility of full recovery of his hip surgery.
British tennis star Murray stressed that it would be "naive" and "silly" to assume that he will make a comeback to his "very best" after undergoing the surgery in January.
In 2019, the 32-year-old mostly engaged in doubles matches and is currently acting as a "pain-free".
"I'm not expecting to get back to my very best," Murray commented, saying "I think it would be probably a bit naive and silly to think that would be the case."
He added "I do feel like tennis-wise I can still compete at the highest level in terms of my skill, it's just whether physically I can get to a high enough level to be competitive right at the top."
