Oil prices increase

Oil prices have increased on the week that ended on the 20th of September after the attacks on Saudi Arabia's crude oil production facilities last weekend, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for October delivery increased 5.91 percent and Brent crude oil for November delivery rose 6.74 percent.

In the week, the oil prices saw spiking, decreasing back again, and then increasing more modestly, marking the biggest weekly gains in months.

WTI set at USD58.09 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Brent crude ended at USD64.28 per barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.

WTI and Brent crude prices added 27.95 percent and 19.48 percent respectively.
