Director-general of the Pakistani army's media wing said on Friday that 2 Pakistani security officials died in the blast of an explosive device in Mohmand tribal district in Afghanistan.
An officer and a soldier were on the border when they were struck by the blast planted by people from across the border.
The officers were watching the fencing work, which was on a serious border infiltration route between the two countries.
