Qatar- Sheikha Moza meets World Bank President in Washington


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Chairperson of Education Above All, H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, met on Wednesday with World Bank President, David Malpass, at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC.

In the meeting, they discussed the newly-signed, ground-breaking partnership agreement between Education Above All and the World Bank to enrol two million out-of-school children in 41 countries by 2025.

The agreement secures up to $250m in funding and will ensure focus on a cohort of developing nations working to enable access to quality primary education for all children in their respective countries. EAAs strategic partner, Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), was a key contributor to this effort.
