(MENAFN) During the Western China International Fair Import and Export Expo, USD87.18 billion worth of projects were signed in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
An overall of 489 projects were secured, with 454 of them accounting for local investments while 35 others were signed with foreign investments.
Using the investments, the amount will mostly be allocated in electronic information, equipment manufacturing, food and beverage, advanced material, energy and chemical and digital economy.
The import and export expo was joined by government delegations from 55 countries and regions as well as merchants from more than 800 enterprises.
