(MENAFN) CEO of Google Sundar Pichai announced the tech giant to be allocating USD3.3 billion worth of investments into data centres expansion efforts within Europe.
Overall investments of Google in the European internet infrastructure will be standing at around USD16,523 billion following the two-year plan.
Helsinki hosted talks between the CEO and Finland's Prime Minister Antii Rinne, where Pichai assured the investments to be backing 13,000 full-time jobs in the EU per year.
Pichai further added that Google is allocating strong investments into renewable energy, a plan which was unveiled before international rallies demanding measures against climate change.
