(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Airways is excited to announce that it has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Belgian football club KAS Eupen further growing its global sporting partnerships portfolio.
This agreement will see the airline's logo proudly placed on the team's playing jersey from the 2019/20 season. Qatar Airways branding will also be placed around KAS. Eupen's stadium. KAS Eupen competes in the Jupiler Pro League, the Belgian First Division and has established a reputation for developing young talented footballers such as Moussa Wague and Henry Onyekuru.
KAS Eupen has also played a pivotal role in developing many young Qatari players including Akram Afif, Abdelkarim Hassan and several other members of Qatar's 2019 AFC Asian Cup winning squad.

KAS Eupen joins AS Roma, Boca Juniors, FC Bayern München and Al Sadd SC in Qatar Airways' global football sponsorship portfolio. In addition, Qatar Airways is also the Official Airline Partner of FIFA, which includes 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, the FIFA Club World Cup, the FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
