Crude oil refinery inputs drop in U.S.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday that the crude oil refinery inputs in the U.S. fell in the week that ended on the 13th of September.

The refinery inputs of crude oil in the U.S. stood at an average of 16.7 million barrels in a day (b/d) last week, 788,000 b/d lower than the previous week's average

Gasoline production dropped last week, to see an average of 9.5 million b/d. Distillate fuel production fell to average at 5.1 million b/d.

The total supplied products in the past 4 week period had an average of 21.3 million b/d.
