Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures cclosed mixed on Wednesday, as soybean futures dropped due to mild weather across the United States Midwest that decreased risks that frost might ruin the crops.
The most active wheat contract for December delivery increased 5 1.08 percent to set at USD4.895 per bushel.
Corn in December increased 0.88 percent to set at USD3.7125 per bushel, it decreased 0.56 percent in November to USD8.8875.
CBOT corn futures edged increased in a mild short covering bounce, as wheat futures rose over strong demand around the world and fears that dry weather could dent yield prospects for crops in the southern hemisphere.
