(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Qatar convicted a bomb attack on a campaign rally by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry emphasized in a statement, "The State of Qatar is expressing extreme condemnation of the explosion that targeted an election rally of the Afghan president and left dozens killed or wounded".
It also extended condolences to the relatives of the killed people and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
The ministry also reaffirmed Doha's "firm position renouncing violence and terrorism regardless of the motives or reasons."
