Oman- Climbing feature to be removed from Bounce following accident

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat -

After a ten year old Omani boy met with an accident at the wall climbing activity of trampoline park Bounce last week, the company has said that it is considering closing down the climbing feature at the park.

'We wish to make our Bounce community aware that a serious accident occurred in our Oman venue on Thursday within the climbing area. Very sadly a young boy remains in a serious condition,' the company stated.

'We took the decision to close the Oman venue, which is the only regional venue with this climbing area, with immediate effect and are working closely with the local authorities as well as an independent safety advisor,' it added.

The company further said that although the investigations are on-going which prevents it from providing a detailed update, it wishes to make a clear statement to the community 'that regardless of the outcomes of the investigation we will remove the activity once we are authorised to do so'.
