(MENAFN) On Tuesday, the Turkish National Defense Ministry stated that Turkish fighter jets managed to neutralize as many as three PKK terrorists as a result of conducting air operations in northern Iraq.
The ministry affirmed on Twitter that the terrorists were neutralized in the Gara region as a result of the continuing Operation Claw.
Turkish government frequently uses the term "neutralized" in statements to indicate that the terrorists in question surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
It added that the air raid also resulted in the complete damage of weapons emplacements and shelters used by the PKK terrorists.
