Exports in Egypt increase

Exports in Egypt have increased in 2018 to reach USD29.2 billion, The Egyptian government said.

The Ministers Council said in a statement that Egyptian exports reached USD29.2 billion in 2018 in comparison with USD26.3 in 2017 and USD22.5 billion in 2016.

Egyptian exports value in the first half year added 2 percent to hit USD15.3 billion, in comparison with USD15 billion in the same time frame of the last year.

The most important commodities exported in 2018 were fuel, mineral oils, plastics, electrical appliances, precious metals and fruits.
