Lack of fuel in Cuba over U.S. oil sanctions

(MENAFN) Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez warned of a lack in fuel within the country over oil sanctions that the United States imposed.

Slamming such tough sanctions on oil shipments to Cuba were condemned by the foreign minister, emphasizing that the move is a part of a bigger scheme to inflict damage upon the Caribbean nation.

"Preventing fuel delivery to our country is part of the genocidal actions against Cuba," the foreign minister stressed in an online statement.

Rodriguez added "this harms our people and cause(s) hardships and difficulties that are currently affecting every Cuban family. The only one responsible is the U.S. government."
