Kuwait oil price jumps USD 5.54 to USD 65.13 pb

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwait oil made a huge leap by USD 5.54 to reach USD 65.13 per barrel Sunday, after being at USD 59.59 pb last Friday, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Monday.
As for the Brent crude price, it also made staggering jump by USD 8.80 to USD 69.02 per barrel, the same with the West Texas Intermediate, reaching USD 62.90 pb due to a USD-8.05-increase.
The current hike in prices is attributed to the recent attack on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, which led to a decrease in Saudi production. (end)
