(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is set to sign two cooperation agreements with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), during the agency's general conference held in Vienna.
One of the agreements involve safety, nuclear security, food, agriculture, water resources, energy and industry, Kuwait's Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Envoy to the United Nations Sadiq Marafi told KUNA on Monday.
He added that they will also sign an agreement on protecting marine environment and another one on using nuclear technology.
Meanwhile, the ambassador noted that Kuwait is highly cooperating with the agency to enable the country to use nuclear power and boost the performance of governmental bodies. (end)
