(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept 16 (Petra) Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) President Atef Tarawneh Monday condemned drone attacks on oil processing facilities of Saudi Aramco.
In a statement, Tarawneh said the AIPU rejects all forms of extremism, violence and terrorism, including the targeting of vital civilian and strategic economic facilities.
He expressed the AIPU's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against threats to its security and stability, and voiced its support of all actions the Kingdom takes to safeguard the safety of its citizens and the workers in the country, and to maintain global energy supplies.
Tarawneh said the AIPU firmly believes in Saudi Arabia's ability to protect its status and preserve its stability, prosperity and security.
