(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) is to meet United National Party (UNP) leader Ranil Wickremesinghe for talks this week.
A TNA delegation met representatives of UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa in Colombo yesterday.
The delegation had discussed issues faced by the Tamils and inquired into what steps will be taken to address them in the event Premadasa is named the Presidential candidate of the United National Front.
The TNA will now meet Wickremesinghe tomorrow in Parliament for further talks.
Wickremesinghe had sought the meeting with the TNA to discuss the elections.
