(MENAFN) Thailand was ranked as the most leading exporter of rubber around the world, marking China as the country's top market on the back of secured free trade deals.
Department of Trade Negotiations of the Thai Commerce Ministry ranked the country according to its impressive performance.
Last year, Thai rubber exports amounted for 1.82 percent of the country's overall exports to stand at more than USD4.6 billion.
Director-general of the DTN Auramon Sapthaweetham stated "China was Thailand's biggest market, importing Thai rubber at 1.96 billion U.S. dollars," adding "that is 43 percent of total Thai rubber exports in 2018."
