(MENAFN) On Saturday, Turkish security forces managed to neutralize as many as five terrorists in the eastern Van province of the nation.
According to an Interior Ministry statement, the militants were "neutralized" in the gendarmerie special forces' operation which carried out in rural Gevas district of the province.
Turkish government frequently uses the term "neutralized" in statements to indicate that the terrorists in question surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
The statement added that the raid is still continuing in the area.
