Quick action by UAE paramedics saves Filipina's life


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A Filipina woman was saved fromdying, thanks to a team of UAE paramedics.

On an Instagram post, the National Ambulance shared the thrilling story of how a team of paramedics, led by Mohammed Al Shdaifat saved a group of workers at their accommodation in Ras Al Khaimah.

According to the post, Al Shdaifat's team responded to a resident who found her four workmates unconscious. When they arrived in the scene, they suspected a gas leak as the cause of injuries.Al Shdaifat's team of EMTs then put on their masks and moved them to safety. The workers were then given first aid and transferred to a nearby hospital.

After the initial emergency, Al Shdaifat assessed the area and believed that people around the area were at risk. He asked police to check and ensure that there was no one left inside the building.

Following the police, they came across a room where they found a Filipina woman lying unconscious on the floor. Al Shdaifat and his colleague, Nino David, carried the woman out of the room and attended to her. National Ambulance shared a photo of the Filipina along with the two paramedics.
