As for the manufactured products, in January-July 2019, 14,400 tons of corn were harvested from 3,000 hectares, which is 2.9 percent more compared to the same period last year. Harvest this year was 47.9 centners per hectare.

Over the past 20 years, work on interbreeding has been carried out at the experimental site of the laboratory of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, as a result of which high results were achieved. So, in 2011 for the first time, a new variety of corn ("ADAU-80") was obtained. Currently, this variety is widely grown in many regions and farms. This variety is superior to others, both local and imported from abroad, not only in yield, but in terms of green mass.

Another variety - "Ganja", was obtained in 2014, following research work carried out at the Agrarian University. It was included in the state register along with another new corn variety - "Mahsuldar" (Fruitful).
