Oman- ROP asks visitors arriving via road to opt for e-visa

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Muscat -

The ROP has advised everyone travelling to Oman via road to opt for e-visa rather than visa-on-arrival at the border check points.

It said that visa-on-arrival is now considered an extra service and treated as an exception.

In a statement, the ROP said, 'We request all visitors travelling to Oman by road to obtain their visas online in advance.'

It said that an e-visa will make the journey easier for the visitor and allow clearance of travel procedures faster for the authorities.
'It will facilitate easy and efficient processing at the border posts. Visa-on-arrival is now an exception and e-visas should be used as much as possible.'
