Sudan's PM to pay official visit to South Sudan tomorrow


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Sudan's Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok will pay an official visit to South Sudan's capital, Juba, and this visit is considered to be the first foreign visit since his appointment on Sept. 8, according to Sudan's information minister.Faisal Mohamed Saleh at a press conference in Khartoum stated on Tuesday, "The prime minister will head to Juba for a visit to South Sudan on Thursday".On Tuesday, Sudan's transitional cabinet held its first meeting, with the participation of Hamdok, after taking the constitutional oath on Sunday.Juba is hosting discussions between Sudan's sovereignty council and leaders of equipped groups in Sudan's Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile regions.
