(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Supreme Court has rejected a petition filed by former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa against the case over the alleged misappropriation of state funds when constructing the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum.
The Permanent High Court at Bar decided to hear the case on a daily basis from the 15th of October.
Rajapaksa's lawyers filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the case being heard at the Permanent High Court at Bar.
However, in a majority decision the Supreme Court rejected the petition today.
