(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) A suspect who was arrested for assaulting two novice Buddhist monks in Horowpathana has been ordered to be remanded.
The suspect was seen in a video widely circulating on social media assaulting the novice Buddhist monks.
The suspect was arrested yesterday and produced before the Padaviya Magistrate today.
The Magistrate ordered that the suspect be remanded until the 24th of September.
