Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan decreases by 6.9% and makes USD 3.8 bln

Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan, according to preliminary data, in January-July 2019 amounted to USD 3.8 billion,Trendreports with referenceKabarwhich cited the head of the department of the National Statistics Committee Chinara Turdubaeva told during the press conference.

She said that compared with the same period last year, there was a decrease of 6.9%, while export deliveries increased by 9.1% and import revenues, by contrast, decreased by 11.8%.


'The volume of mutual trade between the republic and the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) member states in January-July 2019 amounted to USD 1.4 billion. And compared with the same period in 2018, it decreased by 9.5%. At the same time, a decrease in both export deliveries by 20.1% and import receipts by 6.1% was noted. The largest share of the republic's mutual trade with the EAEU member states was in Russia, its share was 59.9% and Kazakhstan - 37.9%,' added Turdubaeva.
