The number of deaths of IS terrorists in an airdrop operation on IS positions in Iraq's central province of Salahudin have increased to 15 on Monday, according to the Iraqi military.
Spokesman of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, said that Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) carried out an airdrop operation on IS positions in Mteibijah close to the provincial border.
He also added that 15 IS terrorists were killed and 9 others were captured, several hideouts were destroyed along with tunnels and training camps.
Mohammed al-Bazi from Salahudin's provincial police said that the CTS airdrop operation killed six IS militants and captured four others earlier in the day.
