H E Abdullah al Salmi, executive president of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) will inaugurate the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners' (ACFE) conference at the Sheraton Oman hotel on Wednesday.
The one-day conference titled 'Fraud and Financial Crime' will be held from 8.30am to 5pm, according to a press release.
Davis Kallukaran, president of ACFE Oman Chapter said, 'Eminent speakers from the regulators and practicing fraud investigation professionals and other experts will engage the delegates on topics ranging from anti-corruption, anti-bribery, procurement fraud, cybercrime, money laundering, fraud risk management and regulatory framework to combat fraud.'
'Delegates from the ROP, CBO, State Audit and other regulatory agencies are expected to attend the event along with participants from banking and non-banking financial services.'
