Qatar- Amir sends cable of condolences to Zimbabwe President


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) QNADoha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Amir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent yesterday cables of condolences to President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, on the death of former president Robert Mugabe.

Mugabe (95), who ruled Zimbabwe for 37 years until the military forced him out, died at 0240 GMT in Singapore, where he had been hospitalised in April. The Singaporean foreign ministry confirmed that Mugabe had died at Gleneagles Hospital.
