(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Finance Minister Nayef Al-Hajraf attended the periodic review of a USD 10 billion funding and loans package to Bahrain aimed at eliminating its budget deficit by 2022.
Bahrain's Finance Minister Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa welcomed Minister Al-Hajraf and the United Arab Emirates' State Minister for Financial Affairs Obaid Al-Tayer to the meeting.
The Comprehensive Fiscal Balance Programme was launched in October 2018 to achieve a point of balance between expenditures and government revenues. (end)
