Saudi- US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Watches the Remnants of Iranian Weapons Used by Houthi Militia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Sep. 05, 2019, SPA -- Accompanied by US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Gulf Affairs Timothy Lenderking, US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker today visited the exhibit site of Iranian weapons smuggled and used by the Houthi terrorist militia in its hostile and terrorist acts against Saudi Arabia.
Upon arrival at the venue, he and his entourage were received by Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Major General Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Ghamdi.
Col. Turki Al Maliki, the official spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, made a presentation giving material evidence of the use of Iranian-made weapons by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threaten regional and international security.
