3rd rounds of political talks between Iran, Slovenia kicks off in Ljubljana


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Iran and Slovenia held the third round of their political discussions in Ljubljana, in the attendance of Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi and Slovenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Simona Lascar.

In this round of political discussions, both parties reviewed the last development of bilateral ties in political, economic and cultural arenas in addition to regional and international developments such as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and developments in West Asia and the Persian Gulf.

Given the wide range of opportunities and capacities of the both nations, both parties called for promoting the level of collaboration and broadening relations in several agricultural, foodstuff, medicine and tourism sectors.

Both parties during the discussions exchanged opinions related to the negative results and difficulties caused by unilateralism particularly in exacerbation of crises in the region and the world, and underlined their support for multilateralism.
